Plan around the walking street

From Friday evening to Sunday night the streets around Hoan Kiem Lake close to traffic. It makes the walk to the lake pleasant, but cars may have to drop you a block away.

Honest note

Hang Bong is a traffic street, not a quiet lane. Pavements are narrow and often taken up by parked motorbikes and shop displays, so you will sometimes walk along the edge of the road. It is safe after dark, but it is not a leisurely stroll.
