Each room type, and who it suits

Deluxe room with a king bed, a gold-panelled headboard, mustard curtains and a striped carpet

25 m² · Internal view · King or twin

Deluxe

The entry-level room: the same 25 m² as Premium Deluxe, a king bed or two singles, a desk and a bathtub with a shower. The hotel lists its outlook as internal, so there is no window onto the street.

Book it if you will be out from breakfast to bedtime and sleep better without street light or traffic. Skip it if daylight in the morning matters to you; the Premium Deluxe is the same size with a window.

25 m² · Neighbourhood view · King or twin

Premium Deluxe

The lowest-priced room with real daylight. Windows look onto the surrounding streets and buildings rather than a skyline, and the décor in the photos is darker, with wood panelling and red curtains.

Book it if you want a window without paying for extra space and are staying two or three nights. Skip it if you want space to spread out; the Executive gives you 10 m² more.

35 m² · Internal view · 3 beds

Triple

Three single beds, or a king and a single, in 35 m², with a separate bathtub and shower. Like the Deluxe, it faces inwards, which keeps it quiet but dark during the day.

Book it if three of you want one room and plan to spend the daylight hours out. Skip it if you want a view; two city-view rooms cost more but feel far less closed in.

35 m² · City view · Queen bed

Executive

The room most couples should book: 35 m², a queen bed, a city view, and in some rooms a small balcony over the street. A frosted glass panel separates the bedroom from the bathroom in several of these rooms.

Book it if you are staying three nights or more and want light, space and a chance of a balcony. Skip it if you need twin beds; the Executive comes with a queen only.

40 m² · City view · King or twin

Premium Executive

The largest regular room at 40 m², with a king bed or two singles, a city view and room for three adults. The hotel does not promise a balcony for this type.

Book it if you are two friends who want separate beds, or a couple who wants the most space short of the suite. Skip it if a balcony is the point; ask for an Executive room with one instead.

“Superior” rooms

Some booking pages sell a “Superior Room” and a “Superior Double or Twin” of 25 m². These names do not appear on the hotel’s own room list, and the photos look like the lighter Deluxe rooms.

Book it if it is the rate that fits your dates and you have checked with the hotel whether it has a street window. Skip it if you cannot confirm the outlook; book a Premium Deluxe, which lists its window.

What you pay depends on the night and the room; every rate on the booking page lists its cancellation terms and says whether breakfast is in.

How to get the right room at Silk Path

01

Book the window, not the name

Booking sites rename rooms. Match by size and outlook: 25 m² with an internal view is Deluxe, 25 m² with a window is Premium Deluxe, 35 m² with a queen bed is Executive.

02

Ask for a high floor

The building has ten floors and Hang Bong is busy until late. A city-view room high up gives you light with less traffic noise; add it as a request after you book.

03

Put the balcony in writing

Only some Executive rooms have a balcony. Email the hotel with your booking reference and ask them to confirm one; a note at the front desk is not a promise.

Honest note

Many photos online show the rooms before the guestroom refresh the hotel has announced for 2026, so décor, colours and fittings may differ from what you see here. Room sizes and the outlook of each type do not change.

Questions about rooms at Silk Path Hotel Hanoi

Do all Silk Path rooms have a bathtub?

Yes, every room type on the hotel’s room list includes a bathtub as well as a shower, and the Triple has the two separate. Bathrooms in the photos use black marble with white veining, cream wall tiles and a square basin set on the counter. The Presidential Suite’s tub sits by a window with a city view.

What does “internal view” mean for a Silk Path room?

It means the room does not face the street. The hotel uses the term for its Deluxe and Triple rooms, and a hotel review site describes the standard Deluxe rooms as having no external windows. Expect to rely on the room lights during the day; in return, these rooms are the quietest in the building.

Which bed sizes can I get at Silk Path?

Deluxe, Premium Deluxe and Premium Executive rooms come with either one king bed or two single beds, so choose the bed type when you book. The Executive has a queen bed only. The Triple has three singles or a king plus a single, and the Presidential Suite has a king in one bedroom and a queen in the other.

Which Silk Path rooms can take an extra bed?

Executive and Premium Executive rooms are listed for up to three adults, and the Triple already sleeps three. One listing prices an extra bed at about VND 685,000 for guests aged 12 and over, while cots for babies up to one year are free. Extra beds are on request: add one when you reserve and wait for the hotel’s confirmation.

What is in a standard room at Silk Path?

Every room has air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, a minibar and fridge, a writing desk with a chair, a flat-screen TV and a bathroom with a bathtub, a shower and a hairdryer. Larger rooms add an armchair corner. Ask the hotel if you need something specific, such as a kettle or extra pillows.

Has Silk Path renovated its rooms?

Partly. The hotel finished upgrading its public areas and meeting rooms in 2025 and has announced a new look for its guest rooms during 2026. We could not confirm which floors are already done, so if you want a refreshed room, ask the hotel when you book.
